AdobeDogs was started by Trish Wamsat and is now owned by Molly Hughes. If you’ve been around Los Altos for a while, you may already know AdobeDogs—or maybe you took a class from Trish 10 or even 15 years ago! I love that people still come back with their next dog.
When I took over AdobeDogs, it was important to both Trish and me that the things that made AdobeDogs special didn’t disappear. The business is now officially Molly’s AdobeDogs Dog Training, Inc.—but we’re still AdobeDogs for short. And we’re still interested in the same thing: helping people raise great dogs they can actually live with and take places. That means a dog who can settle down. A dog who listens. A dog who learns to make good decisions instead of needing you to manage every move. A dog who can walk through town, go to a friend’s house, hang out at a café, or just relax at home and be part of the family. That’s what we mean by a great community dog.
Our classes are positive, practical, and designed for real life. We offer classes for dogs—and their people—at different ages and skill levels. Julie Bond also joins us for special seminars, bringing her background in animal behavior to subjects you probably won’t find in the average dog-training class.
We hold our classes indoors at the American Legion Hall at 347 First Street in Los Altos, across from Draeger’s Market.
We may train indoors, but we’re training dogs for life outside the classroom.

Molly Hughes, CPDT-KA
Owner of AdobeDogs! I was very flattered when Trish Wamsat entrusted me with AdobeDogs at the beginning of 2015. Although I always had a "day job", dogs and training have been my passion for years. It's been wonderful to see the shift to positive training over the past 20 years, and I've been lucky to learn from many great trainers during that time. I've completed courses or attended seminars by the Karen Pryor Academy (Puppy Start Right and Dog Trainer Foundations); Trish King (Academy of Dog Behavior); Charles Wilhelm, Kay Laurence; Ken Ramirez; Robin Bennett; and The Family Dog--just to name a few. I am also qualified as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-- Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA).

Marina Egorova
Marina worked with Trish for over 8 years, and I'm very pleased that she has stayed on as our main trainer. She has helped keep the classes true to the AdobeDog philosophy. She also believes in learning from a variety of trainers and has attended seminars with Suzanne Clothier, Mary Ray, as well as participated in Nose Work training. Marina is doing a wonderful job of helping people develop their great community dogs!

Ella Heard
Ella began her journey working with Julie, evaluating prospective therapy dogs for the Reading Buddies program. Her interest in animals and how their minds work inspired her to pursue an education in animal behavior, earning a bachelors degree in psychology at University of California Davis. She plans to earn a masters degree to further her knowledge and experience.

Julie Bond
Julie Bond earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Psychology and a Master's Degree in Animal Behavior from the University of California at Davis. She then started her career as an animal health technician and practice manager for a Veterinarian in southern California. From there, she became a Wild Animal Trainer at the world-famous San Diego Wild Animal Park. In 1991, she founded Pet Education and Training Services because “I saw a need for an animal care professional who focuses on the minds of pets.”
Julie occasionally offers short courses on special topics on Saturday mornings--including her often-requested Kids & Dogs, and Introduction to Therapy Dogs.
Julie is also the owner of P.E.T.S. -- Pet Education Training Services. If your dog has a difficult behavior problem, Julie is an amazing resource.
